Introduction

State of the Art Spectrophotometer for maximum Performance

"State of the Art" Reference Spectrophotometer for highest levels in accuracy and reliability in a color management network system.
With the CM-3700d, Konica Minolta once more proves its leadership in optical technology in a true "State of the Art" instrument. In every detail, the CM-3700d has been designed for maximum performance in precise color control. The large sphere, the aperture masks and the complete optical system are manufactured without any compromise, and even exceed the requirements of international standards such as CIE, ISO, ASTM, DIN or JIS.
The two flat holographic gratings with silicon photodiode arrays, one each for the sample and feedback channel as well as the high power xenon flash ensures highest absolute accuracy and repeatability, especially on very dark shades.
The superiority of the CM-3700 has been rewarded by top ranking institutes and industry leaders. Another example of Konica Minolta's high-end manufacturing technology is the superior level of inter-instrument agreement "from the line".

Reflective Color Measurement

r
    r
  • SCI/SCE switching. When SCI is selected, measurements will be unaffected by the specimen surface condition, and this is ideal for the control of color compounding ratios and CCM. Alternatively, SCE can be selected to obtain test measurements for a condition approximating visual examination by eliminating specularly reflected light.
  • Measurement area switching. Measurement area of ??5.4mm, ??mm, and 3 x 5mm can be selected according to the specimen being measured.
  • Fluorescent color measurement
UV cut filters allow 1,000-step adjustment of UV light. The approximation of a D65-equivalent light source in this way provides an ideal measurement solution for paper, pulp, and other materials containing fluorescent materials.

Transparent Color Measurement

  • Measurement of transparent colors by diffused lighting, 0??reception (d/0)
Wide-ranging support is provided for the measurement of glass filters and other sheet or plate specimens, in addition to liquid items for food products, cosmetics, etc.

Principal Applications

Plastics, textiles, dyed items, kiln-fired materials, etc
